Yellow Path exists to protect something rare: a way of practising acupuncture that has not been reduced to protocols, but remains what it was originally meant to be — a system of medicine, a diagnostic art, a living transmission of healing and a spiritual path.
Rooted in the Classical Five-Element tradition and inspired by the teachings of J.R. Worsley, Yellow Path teaches acupuncture as a lineage, passed directly from master practitioner to student through study, mentorship and lived experience.

Yellow Path is a structured and immersive training designed to guide students through a professional Classical Five-Element acupuncture training within a framework of deep personal and spiritual development.

The Story Of Yellow Path
Yellow Path was born from decades of theoretical and philosophical study, clinical practice, teaching and apprenticeship and from a longing to preserve a tradition that is increasingly rare.
In a world where medicine often becomes transactional and many trainings focus on technique alone, Yellow Path exists to transmit what cannot be learned from books:

What Makes Yellow Path Different?
Philosophy and Spiritual Foundation
The name Yellow Path is symbolic.
In classical traditions, the colour yellow is associated with balance, grounding and the Earth Element, the phase of the life cycle that nourishes, holds and gives form.
It also relates to The Yellow Emperor, whose influence and classical teachings described this medicine more than 3,000 years ago.
The path reflects the journey everyone undertakes in life, one of learning, resilience, refinement and transformation.
The deeper purpose of this training is not only to learn acupuncture but to walk one’s own path and to become an ‘Instrument of Nature’.

Yellow Path is a fellowship of students and teachers who come together with the shared intention of learning, growing and embodying the principles and practice of Five Element acupuncture.
We put principles before personalities.
A key requirement for participation is the willingness to step into the role of ‘The Instrument’, leaving personal opinions, politics, identities and attachments at the door so that we may fully embrace the teachings and support one another on the path.
Yellow Path is not allied with any sect, denomination, political movement, organisation or institution. It does not engage in controversy nor endorse or oppose any cause.

ABOUT OUR PRINCIPAL
Who is Gerad Kite?
Gerad Kite is one of the UK's leading Five-Element acupuncturists, a teacher and author with 30 years clinical experience.
Gerad Kite, Ac.M (Acupuncture Master)
Gerad Kite is one of the UK’s foremost Five-Element acupuncturists and teachers, known internationally for his work within this field.
He received his Licentiate in Acupuncture (Lic.Ac.) in 1990 and his Acupuncture Master (Ac.M.) certification in 2000. He holds a Master Apprentice Certificate through the J.R. and J.B. Worsley Master Apprentice Programme and an Advanced Teacher Training qualification from the Worsley Institute.
In 1993, Gerad founded the UK’s first NHS acupuncture service at King’s College Hospital, supporting patients with AIDS and terminal illness.
He later ran a successful private practice on Harley Street and was dubbed by the national press the “Daddy of all Fertility Experts” through his work supporting conception and reproductive health.
In 2006 he founded Kite Clinic, leading a team delivering over 10,000 treatments per year. In 2007 he established the London Institute of Five Element Acupuncture (LIFEA), training a new generation of practitioners and apprentices.
In October 2020 he launched Yellow Path, bringing decades of teaching into a modern training format through original filmed lectures, online study and in-person clinical intensives.
