Gerad Kite is one of the UK's foremost Classical Five-Element acupuncturists and teachers, known internationally for his work within this field.

He received his Licentiate in Acupuncture (Lic.Ac.) in 1990 and his Acupuncture Master (Ac.M.) certification in 2000. He also holds a Master Apprentice Certificate through the J.R. and J.B. Worsley Master Apprentice Programme and an Advanced Teacher Training qualification from the Worsley Institute.

Throughout his career, Gerad has been fortunate to study with a number of remarkable teachers who have profoundly influenced his understanding of medicine, the human condition and his own personal development. He acknowledges with deep gratitude the teachings of Professor J.R. Worsley, Judy Worsley, Hilary Skellon, Elisabeth Rochat de la Vallée and Niki Bilton, each of whom has contributed in different ways to his understanding and practice of Classical Five-Element acupuncture and the lifelong journey of learning.

In 1993, Gerad founded the UK's first NHS acupuncture service at King's College Hospital, supporting patients with AIDS and terminal illness.

He later established a successful private practice on Harley Street and was dubbed by the national press the "Daddy of all Fertility Experts" through his work supporting conception and reproductive health.

In 2006, he founded Kite Clinic, leading a team delivering over 10,000 treatments per year. In 2007, he established the London Institute of Five Element Acupuncture (LIFEA), training a new generation of practitioners and apprentices.

In October 2020, he launched Yellow Path, bringing together more than three decades of clinical experience, teaching and personal exploration. The school reflects the many influences that have shaped his development, while establishing its own independent identity and commitment to excellence in Classical Five-Element acupuncture education.

Today, Yellow Path is dedicated to preserving the depth, integrity and spirit of this extraordinary system of medicine, while preparing future generations of practitioners to carry it forward with sensitivity, skill and understanding.
