Mentors
Grace Escolme
(Lic. Ac.) (M.AFEA) Mentor & Acupuncturist
Mentor
Staying connected to the Yellow Path community has strengthened my practice. Five-Element acupuncture is a way of life and the path feels bumpy at times, it is the fellow practitioners and students who keep the spirit alive. I love how the practice of this medicine can be implemented throughout everyday life, not just in the clinic. Don’t be fooled, it is truly magic!
When I’m not at Yellow Path you can find me surfing, planting in the garden or foraging mugwort.
Jamila Johnson-Small
(Lic. Ac.) (M.AFEA) Mentor & Acupuncturist
Mentor
Jamila trained in Five-Element acupuncture at Yellow Path and has worked as dancer, artist and facilitator for over 15 years. They understand their work across different fields to be manifestations of the same intention; a deep commitment to the magic and mysteries of bodies, tuning to the interconnectedness of all things and advocacy for our bodies being our greatest teachers.
Jamila practices under the name ‘in colour and soft focus’ from Central London, South East London and Folkestone.
Marta Brugnatelli
(Lic. Ac.) (M.AFEA) Mentor & Acupuncturist
Mentor
Marta came to acupuncture as a newly immigrated drama school student in search for some help through her mental health struggles, and kept on coming back through years of career changes - going from actor to restaurant manager, and then finally landing in the clinic room on the other side, as the practitioner. She feels very passionately about people and training, which in her eyes goes far beyond the teaching of skills and encompasses emotional, social and individual well-being.
She believes that in creating a safe and supportive environment we can all thrive, and she strives to offer a generous, non-judgemental space for healing.
Marta works in London under the name of Oceanic Feeling Acupuncture.
